LESSON 03 / 07

Help the product page do one job well.

Move from a recognizable product to a clear next action.

Show what is configurable

Explain the main decisions: footprint, finish, roof, glazing, or accessories. Product imagery should represent the range and make those choices feel concrete. Keep long technical explanations available further down the page.

Choose a clear primary action

A product page should make its next step obvious. Let visitors explore the product or prepare a brief, then offer a conversation for unusual requirements. Repeated actions should use consistent names.

Read the page on a phone

Check headings, option labels, and important actions at a narrow width. A desktop screenshot of software may be too small to explain the product on mobile. Show the choice and its effect in a simpler view.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Can a visitor understand the range before opening the configurator?

Discuss this with a product specialist and a salesperson. Write down one decision your team can agree on before moving to the next lesson.
