Review one brief with the people who receive it.
A short shared review can reveal fields that are missing, unclear, or unnecessary.

Use a representative enquiry
Choose a realistic example with a product direction and at least one unresolved question. Ask the receiving team to describe the next action from the brief alone. If they need to reconstruct the configuration, identify which information was missing.
Ask what each field is used for
A field earns its place when it helps the team understand the product, review the setting, or plan the next conversation. Clarify ambiguous labels and reconsider information that nobody uses at this stage. Keep the request proportionate to the customer’s current decision.
Turn the review into a small change
Agree one improvement and repeat the case after it is made. Keep the expected brief with the acceptance examples for the project. The goal is a handover that another person can use consistently, even when they did not participate in the original discussion.
One useful question.
Arrange a review of one example brief with its actual receiving team and record one concrete change.
